Edward Nathan Gravely, 70, of Max Meadows, VA. passed away, Friday, July 18, 2025. Born August 26, 1954, in Wythe County VA, he was the son of Edward Lee Gravely and the late Katherine Lucille "Barker" Gravely.

He was a lifetime member of the Rural Retreat Rescue Squad. He enjoyed fishing. He was an excellent Class A Machinist. He enjoyed cooking and was the former owner of L&N Restaurant in Rural Retreat.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Nathaniel Lee Gravely, and his loving companion Louise Meadows.

Survivors include his daughter Michelle Lynn Dickerson of Danville VA, father Edward Lee Gravely and step mother Judy Kidd Gravely,  sister, Susie Linkous of Max Meadows VA, Debra Frye of Max Meadows VA, brother Nelson Gravely of Max Meadows, Laurie Monahan and husband Tim of Ivanhoe VA, sister Dana Leonard and husband Burton of Austinville VA, two grandchildren, Zachary James Smith and Isaak Wade Smith of Rural Retreat, one step sister Chasity Johnson and one step brother, Rusty Kidd and a host of nieces and nephews. His little companion, Scooby.

The family will receive friends on Monday July 21, 2025, from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. at the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 21, 2025, at 1 p.m.at Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church; with Pastor Mike Ingo officiating, burial will follow at the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
