Elizabeth Dale King Gallimore

April 10, 1948 – October 13, 2022

Dale Gallimore, 74, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on October 13, 2022.

Dale was born on April 10, 1948 in Newton, Mississippi to the late Virgil King and Elizabeth Christine Fortune King. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Redman-Daniel K. King.

She graduated college with multiple degrees including a Bachelor's Degree, this including Psychology, Social Services, teaching Nursing, and Real Estate. During her life she was an Elementary School teacher, a nurse and also she was a private duty nurse. She worked for Social Services and she helped many children to find permanent homes and she would often bring them home with her. She was a Real Estate Agent. Dale wore many hats in her life. She also had a very beautiful voice that could be heard in solos at concerts including where she went to New River Community College.  She was honorably asked to sing at her own graduation in 1974.

Dale is survived by her husband of 50 years Thomas "Tom" E. Gallimore; daughter Sonja M. Smith-Renigar; son Michael Wade Damon Smith; granddaughter Ashleigh Renigar; great grandson Jayden Renigar; Brothers Thomas F. King, Ronald R. King, Fred W. King; Sisters, Sheila R. King Harris, Cecil and Cynthia King Gravley,   C. Annette King; 20 Nieces and Nephews, 33 Great Nieces and Nephews,  and 6 great-great Nieces and Nephews.

She will take her last ride to the mountains on December 17, 2022. Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 17, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Maurer officiating.

Dale you will be remembered and missed by many cause you touched so many lives.
