Elizabeth Settle Simms, age 95, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Rudolph Simms; Her parents Bishop Jackson and Parkie Astin Settle. Elizabeth was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by 2 Daughters; Gloria and Harry Hoback, and Becky Walters & David Crouse, all of Wytheville.

Special friends Gieshla Eversole, Eleanor Brown, June Crockett and June Williams.

5 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Aubrey Whitlow. Interment will be on Wednesday February 2, 2022 in the Bethel Community Cemetery on Peppers Ferry Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethel Community Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethel Community Church Cemetery.
