Elizabeth "Betty" Young Saunders, age 76, of Rocky Gap, VA passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born May 8 1946 in Bluefield, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy D. Saunders, Sr.; her grandparents, Thomas "TT" and Pearl Archie, and Mabel Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter, Constance Saunders of Bluefield, VA; two sons and daughter-in-law, Coy D. Saunders, Jr, Clay and Amy Saunders, all of Rocky Gap, VA; three grandchildren, Chantal, Chace and Nathan.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Tynes Chapel with the Reverend Marviene Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow in Hogans Cemetery.
