Emily Gail Allison Dunford, age 77, of Wytheville, VA passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was born January 5, 1947 in Wythe County and was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ratcliff Blevins; her husband, Roy F. Dunford; granddaughter, Pamela Alford; three sisters and three brothers.

Emily loved crafting and enjoyed sharing her skills and teaching her family at the monthly family craft night.

Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Jena and Joseph Williams, Donna Camper, Robin Jones, Drema and Steve Rash, Rebecca and Allen Irvin; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Gayle and Dean Tolley, Hattie Loraine and Stevie Reed, Audrey Christine and Robert Corvin; two brothers, Early Jones and Johnny Jones; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Roger Crigger officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
