Ethel Rice Price, age 92, of Rural Retreat, VA passed away May 4, 2022. She was originally from Dott, WV  and was born in Raleigh County, WV on March 30, 1930 the daughter of the late Frank L. Rice and Thelma Thomas Rice. Ethel was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 44 years, and attended the Senior Citizens Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady R. Price, two sisters, Bessie Anderson, Lottie Umberger, three brothers, Frank L. Rice Jr., Don Rice, Willie Rice and Ray Rice.

She is survived by

Her daughter:  Bonnie P. Farmer & Kenny of Saltville, VA

Grandson:  Grady Eugene (Toby) Jones and April of Marion, VA

Great Grandsons: Corey Shupe and Scharlie; Branson Shupe and Mary

Great Granddaughter: Kyrah Shupe and Derrek

Funeral Service will be held Saturday 8 PM, May 7, 2022 at the Lindsey Funeral Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends 6 PM to 8 PM prior to the service.  A graveside committal service will be held 11 AM on Monday May 9, 2022 at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.

The family requests that those who prefer may make memorials to the charity of one's choice.
