Eva Lee Heldreth, 78, of Rural Retreat, joyfully embraced eternal peace on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. A celebration of her vibrant life will be held at Lindsey Funeral Home in Rural Retreat, with Pastor Edward Schaack leading the service. Join us for a viewing at 12 PM, followed by a spirited service at 1 PM.
Born in Charlottesville, VA on February 3, 1946, Eva lived a life full of love and laughter. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Douglas Wayne Heldreth; her parents, Leonard and Sue Catron: her brother, Bud Catron; her sister-in-law, Lou Catron; her sister, Mary Bell; her brother-in-law, Archie Ball; her grandson, Kevin Hagee; and her son-in-law, Joseph Dunn.
Eva's legacy of warmth and kindness lives on through her daughters, Shirley Heldreth and Melissa Heldreth; her son, Leonard (Bo) Heldreth; her sister Edna Russell and brother-in-law Harry Russell; her grandchildren, Joshua Dean Hagee and his fiance'e Brandi Smith, Angela Nicole Smith and her fiance Steven Pratt, Krystal Rose Hoover, carry forward her joyful spirit. Her great-grandchildren, Emma and Eli Atwell, Gabriel, Michael, and Madilyn Hagee, and Haylee McFadden, will always cherish her loving presence. Eva also leaves behind her cherished goddaughters, Courtney Devezin and Shaylee Robinson, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are lovingly managed by Lindsey Funeral Home in Rural Retreat. Let's come together to remember Eva's Zest for life and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
