Forrest "Bo" King, 74, of Austinville VA, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. Born February 28, 1951, in Ivanhoe VA, he was the son of the late Emmett Howard and Doris Pauline King. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker who enjoyed helping others. He loved his family and his church family. He was affectionately known as "Bopa" by his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Randall King, and Emmett Howard King Jr.. He was an electrician and retired from Volvo after 30 years.

Survivors include, his wife Barbara King of the home, one daughter, Chelsea Musick and husband Jason of Max Meadows, two grandchildren, Selah and Gracie Musick, seven sisters, Faye Hampton of Sumter SC, Linda Morrison, of Galax VA, Elaine Widner of Galax VA, Patricia
Puckett of Murfreesboro TN, Jean Bolen and husband Curtis of Woodlawn VA, Treasea Reynolds and husband Kay of Galax VA, Cheryil Vaughan and husband Bobby of Smyrna TN, special brother-in-law Steve Alderman, several Nieces, and Nephews, numerous friends and
extended family.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Ft Chiswell Church of God at 1 p.m. with Pastors Kenneth Quesenberry and Steve Alderman Officiating: Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ivanhoe VA. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Ft Chiswell Church of God from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
