Frances Lahoma Akers, 54, of Wytheville VA, Passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at her residence.

Born December 17, 1967 in Wythe County VA she was the daughter of the late Lillian Josephine and John Akers.

She loved enjoying friends, and family in her house, laughing, singing, and playing cards, and board games. Shopping and going out with the "ya-yas" was always one of her favorite ways to spend a Saturday and if she had it her way, Christmas décor would be up and lit year-round. She loved her friends and family, especially her grandkids, with such passion, and she wanted them to have everything she could give. She truly loved life and pursued living it to the fullest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her sister, Donna Gail Daniel.

Survivors include her daughter Ciera Kenny and husband Cody of Wytheville VA, son, Dustin Aker of Mooresville, N.C., three brothers, Roger Akers and wife Karen of Wytheville VA, Greg Akers and wife Debbie of Rural Retreat VA, Sam Akers and wife Kathi of Rural Retreat VA, one sister, Audrey Coleman and husband David of Piney VA, three grandchildren, Leeland, Zion, and Baylen Kenny, several nieces and nephews. Many friends and Church Family.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 6 P.M. at Legacy Church at 2150 West Ridge Rd, Wytheville VA.
