Frances Saferight, 79, of Wytheville VA, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Born July 14, 1945 in Wytheville VA, she was the daughter of the late George and Hattie Mae Pugh Lefler

She loved her African Violets, cooking, canning and decorating for the holidays. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Saferight, one sister, Patsy Williams, one niece, Sharon Williams.

Survivors include two nieces, Lenora Williams, Donna Hudson and husband Kenneth; three great-nieces, Kayla Fisher and husband Andrew, Ashley Hudson and Kendra Hudson; one-great great-niece, Jordyn Fisher; two stepsons, David Allen "Mouse" Saferight and James Ribble" Buck" Saferight; three step-daughters, Dale and Richard Cox, Ruby Martin and Thelma "Pam" Tolley.

Private Graveside Funeral services will be conducted.
