Fred Henry Stowers, age 71, of Max Meadows, VA passed away July 2, 2024. He was born September 28, 1952 to the late Fred Wiley Stowers and Della Mae Havens Stowers. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Glea Parks Stowers, daughter Shelley Rose Stowers, son Adam Jason Stowers and a brother James Wiley Stowers. Fred was a US Army Veteran.

He is survived by his brother Wiley Stowers (Trish) of Fort Chiswell; sister Karlene S. Lambert (Tony) of Wytheville; sister-in-law Trish Stowers of Marion; nieces and nephews Jeremy, Brandi (Johnny) and son Hunter, Brittany Lambert, Joe Stowers, Michelle (Auston) and Jessie (Jimmy); daughter-in-law Lynn Cregger of Wytheville; grandchildren Jessie Stilwell (Jeremy), Chelle Stilwell-Edwards (Logan); great grandchildren Erinn, Hunter and Jaiden; and fur babies Thor, Loki and Mooch.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel.
