Freda Dunn, 78, of Rural Retreat VA passed away, Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born January 6, 1944 in Rural Retreat she was the daughter of the late Amos and Helen Gordon Parks

She was a lifelong resident of Rural Retreat.  She loved her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Arthur, Emmitt, and Robert Parks.

Survivors include her husband John Dunn of the home, sons Timothy Havens of Roanoke VA, Walter Havens Jr of MN, daughters, Connie Lambert and husband Trubie of Rural Retreat VA, Sarah Billings of Dublin VA, sister Lucille long of Rural Retreat VA, brother, Bentley Parks of Wytheville VA, Carl Parks of Marion VA, ten grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes the body has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
