Gary Wade Blevins age 67 of Wytheville, VA passed away Monday, July 11, 2022.  He was born in Wythe Co., VA on April 28, 1955 the son of the late James Russell Blevins and Mary Elizabeth Brown Blevins.  He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Jean Blevins; a sister, Juanita Rebecca Blevins; two brothers, Warren David Blevins and J.R. Blevins.

Surviving are three daughters, Laura Ann Jones (Andrew) of Max Meadows, VA, Lisa Marie Shupe (Christopher) of Pulaski, VA, Michelle Lyons (Michael) of Bassett, VA; a son, Michael Blevins (Melissa) of Bassett, VA; step-children and spouses, Eddie and Verna Gross of Glade Springs, VA, Hank and Tracy Gross of Speedwell, VA, Cindy and Allen Parks of Sugar Grove, VA; sisters, Deloria Catron of Hillsville, VA, Abby Hoback of Wytheville, VA; brothers, Joe Blevins, Reed Blevins both of Wytheville, VA; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Hoback officiating.  Inurnment will take place at a later date.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service.
