Georganna Justine Davidson

Georganna Justine Davidson, age 74, of Crockett, Va., peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born in Smyth County, Va., on March 25, 1952 to the late Walter Edward Creger Sr. and Mary Margaret Shrader Creger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Walter Edward “Eddie” Creger Jr.

She was the kind of person who was always taking care of everyone else. She had a way of making people feel safe, loved, and welcome—especially when life was hard. She was always willing to give someone a place to land when they needed it, a listening ear when they needed to talk, or a home-cooked meal when they simply needed to feel cared for.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband, Wyndom Ray Davidson; her beloved daughter, Sabrina Sturgill, and husband, Daniel, all of the home; her sisters, Kay Kinley of Wilmington, NC, and Kathy Testerman and husband, Eddie, of Speedwell, VA; and her sister-in-law, Ava Creger of Rural Retreat, VA. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Ben, and Michael; her great-grandchildren, Bryson, Eli, Eden, Collin, Indy, and Evie(on the way); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In accordance with Georganna’s wishes, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
