George Arnold

George Arnold, age 75, of Wytheville, VA passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was born May 22, 1950 in Wythe County, son of the late Jack and Violet Akers Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Shelia Kenney, Jackie Goad and Lisa Arnold; and a brother, Ike Miller.

George was very patriotic; he loved his president and his country. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army. His family meant so much to him and his dog was a great friend. George loved to go fishing.

Survivors include his daughters, Terri Libby and Tonya Hodge; his sisters, Linda King and Lee Fortenberry; 3 brothers, Keith Arnold, Doug Arnold and Timmy Arnold; several grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

There will be no services.
