George Clinton McCrary, age 89, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020. He was born in Ivanhoe,Va. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Army and served honorably in the Viet Nam War. After completing his military duties, he spent 20 years at Lorrillard Tobacco Company. He was an accomplished artist  and wood worker with a true grit of telling semi true stories. He loved his family deeply and was a great provider, father and husband

He is survived by his Wife of 57 Years, Judy McCrary. Sons, Patrick McCrary and Christopher and Madeline McCrary. His Daughter, Sabrina Holland. 4 Grandchildren, Ashley & Kalen Fields, Michael Holland, Jr., Tyler Holland and Kingston McCrary. Funeral services will be private due to the Covid 19 pandemeic, however a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
