George Preston Radford of Roanoke, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2025.

Born February 18, 1964 the son of late Josephine Evelyn Jackson Crockett and Frank L. Radford. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Charles C. Campbell, Rebecca Campbell Gray, and Claris L. Towler.

After George served in the Army, he went on to pursue his career in construction and carpentry. He loved Harleys, music and billiards, amongst a few other things. His personality was one of a kind and he had an unforgettable laugh. If you knew him you, knew his beloved pup, Oliver and they are now reunited.

He is survived by his brother James Campbell (Angie), special friend Vicki Vest, niece Carie Burns (Bill), nephews Jonathan Carter (Ashley), Chris Towler (Jessica) and Josh Towler; as well as 7 great-nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nieces and nephew.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1pm at Mount Hope Cemetery in Ivanhoe.
