Gerald William Sheets, Sr, age 69, of Woodlawn, VA passed away January 20, 2022. He was born May 25, 1952 in Arlington, VA, the son of the late Kenneth Fredrick Sheets and Shirley Blevins Radicchi. Also preceded in death was a brother, James Joseph Jeffries, Jr; granddaughter, Kathleen Sheets and mother-in-law, Helen Summerlin. Gerald was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Kay Sheets; four sons, Gerald, Jr and Mikki Sheets of Stockbridge, GA, Jeffery and Dianna Sheets of Fluvanna County, VA, Kenneth and Brandie Sheets of Mineral, VA, Christopher and Melissa Sheets of Cummins, GA; a brother, Kenneth and Barbara Sheets of Hickory, NC; four sisters, Ruth Harper of Manassas, VA, Joan Tangen Flury of Luray, VA, Judy Sheets of Manassas and Diane Brooks of Luisa, VA; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Heritage Baptist Church in Bland, VA with Pastor Kevin Johnston and Pastor Mickey Creed officiating.
