Glenia Spencer Shelton, age 95, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born September 16, 1921, daughter of the late Isaac Ogle and Della Surratt Ogle. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Spencer and her second husband, Willie George Shelton; two sons, Curtis Spencer and Darrell Spencer; a great- grandson, Cody Stone; several brothers and sisters.  Glenia is survived by three daughters, Zana and Kenneth Stone, Janice and Ted Sutherland, Lowetta and Junior Parnell all of Castleton Road; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Allen Spencer of Castleton Road; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Edmonds of Sylvatus, Lucille Dalton of Sylvatus and Nellie Slate of Dinwiddie; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Eddie Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home or at the residence at any time. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Charity Cemetery.
