Glenn Howard Puckett, Age 89, loving husband to Jessica and father to Amy Lou. Glenn was born in Carroll County on July 26, 1933, raised in Wythe County. Passed on August 30, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.  Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Woodson and Nettie Puckett, brother Eugene Puckett, and grandmother Mary Burnett.

Glenn served in the US Navy aboard the USS Haynsworth DD700 during the Korean War.

Glenn leaves his loving wife of 25 years Jessica Grubb Puckett; daughter and son-in-law Amy Lou and Wayne Eversole; grandmother-in-law Gladys Havens; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronnie and Sara Grubb; sisters-in-laws Kayla and Eugene Fields, Kelly and Steven Ward; and nieces and nephews Taelor Fields, Addison and Allden Umberger, Darrion and Elijah Ward.

Funeral Service will be held Friday September 2, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Open Door Church with Pastor Mark Linkous Officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
