Glenna Pearl McFarland age 80 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025.  She was born in Wythe Co., VA on December 22, 1944 the daughter of the late Argil Garland and Virginia Bell Garland.  Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin McFarland; brothers, Spencer "Shorty" Garland and Joe Garland.

Surviving are her children, Mike McFarland, Lynn McFarland, Mechelle White (Butch); grandchildren, Mikey McFarland, Kim Stamper (Zack); great grandchild, Asher Stamper; sisters, Gail Tate, Beckie Friend (Oakley); brother, Mason Garland and sister-in-law, Debbie Parks; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Rural Retreat, VA.
