Harmon Wagner Pauley Jr., 89, of Bland VA, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his residence. Born, April 9, 1933 in Bland County, he was the son of the late Harmon Sr. and Myrtle Hancock Pauley.

He was an avid fisherman and coon hunter. He was a unique person in his own way. He was always willing to help those in need.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Pauley, Dow Pauley, Will Pauley, four sisters, Ruth Atkins, Alma Cox, Willie King, Ruby Dillow, one grandson Craig Winesett.

Survivors include, his wife Carrie Pauley of the home, two sons, Michael Pauley and wife Colene of Bland VA and children Aaron Pauley and wife Jessica, Zachary Pauley, Nicholas Pauley, Caleb Pauley and wife Kristina, Trevor Pauley and Hayley Pauley, Donald Pauley (Sharon) of Greensboro NC, children, Cristina Dellinger and husband Nathan, Stephanie Bell and husband Matt,  , two daughters, Roxanne Winesett of Bland VA, children: Cheryl Kegley and husband Fulton, Christa White and husband Patrick, , Sandra Sayers and husband Greg of Speedwell VA, children: Landon and Marcus Sayers, 14 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday July 25, 2022, 11 a.m. at the Bland United Methodist Church with Pastor Darlene Marshall officiating; burial will follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery in Bland VA. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call Sunday July 24, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Bland Funeral Chapel in Bland VA.
