Harvey Alan Pruett, 57, of Bland VA, passed away, Friday November 4, 2022. Born May 23, 1965 in Bluefield WV, he was the son of the late Harold and Lois Bruce Pruett. He spent sixteen years serving in the U.S. Airforce as a Staff Sergeant. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to listen to Bluegrass music. He loved to talk and enjoyed helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Pruett and husband James Tillman (Tim) Riddle of Glade Hill VA, one niece, Jessica Riddle and fiancé Charles Barnitz II of Fincastle VA, close cousin Rick Pruett of Rocky Gap VA, and close friend Fulton Kegley of Bland VA, and several other close Friends and Family.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2 P.M.  at the Bland Funeral Chapel in Bland VA, with Pastor Philip Buttery officiating, burial will follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery in Bland VA. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Bland Funeral Chapel from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
