Helen Louise Peake Corvin, age 79, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Friday, April 24, 2026. She was born December 14, 1946 in Wythe County, daughter of the late William Melton Peake and Mary Hardy Peake. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buford Garfield Corvin.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Debra Stone; two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara & “Ricky” Bralley, Rebecca Stone; two sisters, Linda Dell Wingfield and Brenda Stone; Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Berea Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the Corvin family.
