Helen Cline Tickle, age 94, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born December 9, 1930 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Garland Alexander Cline and Nellie Martin Cline. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Tickle; a sister, Virginia Sutphin and nine brothers, McKinley, Walt, Ansel, Donald, James, Steve, Richard, Bill and Martin Cline. Helen was a member of Petunia Christian Church and enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Bobby Mabe; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Sandi Tickle; two sisters, Libby Caudle and Ethel Willard; a brother, Randy Cline; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025 at West End Cemetery with the Reverend Tom Maurer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Petunia Christian Church.
