Herman Elward Bishop

Herman Elward Bishop, age 59, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026. He was born October 20, 1966 in Pulaski County, VA, the son of the late Clyde Edward and Agnes Thomas Bishop. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Deloris Alley.

Survivors include his sister, Loretta Wimmer and husband Chris of Max Meadows; special niece and nephews, Hunter Wimmer, Katie Wimmer, Damon Alley and wife Stacey and their son, Camden; special uncles, Richard “Dick Joe” and Sue Bishop, James “Buggy” and Nancy Bishop; special brother-in-law, Ronald and Patty Alley. Several cousins and many extended family members and friends also survive.

The memorial service for Herman will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Life Changers Christian Center with Pastors Todd and Tammy Porter officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time.
