Ira Randolph "Randy Jr." Winesett Jr., age 71, of Bland, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Bristol, Tennessee. Born on October 10, 1954, in Arkansas City, Kansas, Randy Jr. was a man whose life was marked by deep-rooted values, unwavering kindness, and a generous spirit that enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was equally well known for operating the NAPA wrecker service, serving as a guardian angel on the highways and helping thousands of stranded travelers and locals along the interstate. A dependable helping hand and a loyal friend to all, he approached each day with quiet dignity, hard work, and a humility that made everyone feel at ease. He was the kind of reliable, good-hearted person everyone knew they could count on when they were stuck on the side of the road or just needed a friend.
In addition to his parents, Ira Randolph Winesett Sr. and Wilma Jean Ramsey Winesett, Randy Jr. was preceded in death by his beloved son, Craig Winesett; his sister, Linda Shewey; and his brother, Rex Winesett.
He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by:
His Daughters: Cheryl Kegley and husband Fulton of Bland, VA; Christa Winesett and husband Patrick White of Rocky Gap, VA.

Randy Jr. faced life's joys and challenges with courage and gratitude. While his passing marks a profound loss for the entire community, his legacy will live on through the business he built, the thousands of people he helped, and the enduring love of his family. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
