After moving to Bland County Virginia in 2004, he served in various roles in churches in Wythe and Bland counties. He was a member of Bastian Church of God in Bastian VA. However, Jack's real calling was in personal evangelism, sharing Jesus in his unique, dynamic way, with anyone and everyone God placed in his life.
Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, never missing an opportunity to support his family in any way possible. He was an avid runner, hiker, mountain biker and biker, traveling the country he so loved, running races, backpacking trails, mountain biking or riding one of his many Goldwings.
