James Oscar Crockett, Sr., age 83 of Pulaski, VA passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born March 16, 1934 in Bluewell, WV, the son of the late Henry and Alice Blankenship Crockett. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carol and Ennis and a brother, C.T. Crockett. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Josephine Jackson Crockett; three sons, James, Jr., Roger and Larry; special step-daughter , Claris Craft; two grandchildren, Tony and Jamie; four step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
