James Olen Hudson, age 65, of Fort Chiswell, VA passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was born January 18, 1955 in Wytheville and was preceded in death by his father, John C. Hudson, Jr. James was a member of Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include his wife, Esther Anderson Hudson; two daughters, Tiffany and Trey Tate of the Fort Chiswell Community and Hannah Elizabeth Hudson of Radford, VA; mother, Osa Hill Hudson and step-father, Jim Sharp of Fort Chiswell Community; a sister, Tina Renee Hudson of Woodlawn, VA; brother, Dave Hudson of Fort Chiswell Community; nephews, Cameron and Lindsey Hudson of Kernersville, NC, Seth and John Dillard of Hillsville, VA; great-nephew, David Oliver Hudson of Kernersville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Lonnie Frazier officiating.

There will be no public visitation per Covid-19 regulations.

Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Foster Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Reese Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
