James Ellis Porter, age 59, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Friday, October 28, 2022. He was born June 25, 1963 in Glade Spring, VA, son of the late Lucas Vincent Porter and Deloris Hamilton Porter.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Porter.

James liked to go riding around and playing Poker with friends and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Tanisha Porter; granddaughter, Kashmere Santiago; special nieces and nephew, Sabrina Cregger, Alexis and Bryan Cregger.

There will be no services.
