James Riley "Jimmy" Mullins age 90 of Wytheville, VA (the Black Lick Community) passed away Friday evening April 5, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Princeton, WV on July 4, 1933 the son of the late Howard Mullins and Ruby Ramsey Mullins.  Jimmy was a Dairy farmer in the Black Lick Community and was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Mullins Meadows.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Willard Mullins; son, James Riley Mullins, Jr. and wife Rosemarie of Wytheville, VA; grandson, James William Mullins; step-grandchildren Jessia Meadows and Cody Meadows; step-great grandson Eli Meadows; brother, Robert Mullins of Rich Creek, VA; nephew, Robert Gene Mullins of Blacksburg, VA.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Marvin Church with Rev. Jeff Meadows officiating.  Interment will follow in the Black Lick Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at the Lindsey Funeral Home.
