Jane Cleo Pauley

Jane Cleo Pauley, age 82, of Austinville, VA passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026. She was born October 10, 1943 in Wythe County, daughter of the late James Addison Pauley and Myrtle Davis Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Myrtle “Lib” Arnold and Helen Hawks; four brothers, Clyde “Buck” Pauley, Roger Lee Pauley, Jewell “Tuty” Pauley and Jamey Roy Pauley.

Survivors include two sons, Billy “Jake” Davis of Pulaski and Michael “Tody” Davis of Wytheville; her daughter, Norma “Jeannie” Dunford of Austinville, VA; a special nephew, Doug Pauley of Galax and a special great-niece, Amanda Pauley; six grandchildren, Bobby, Randy, Loretta, Billy, Scotty and Michael; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Meina, Lydia, Victoria, Bobby, James, Lindsey, Mallori, Annabell, Enola, Calab and Billy; great-great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Pheonix, Atticus, Athena and Zechariah.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. service time. Burial will follow in Bethany Community Church Cemetery.
