Janet Sophie Malik Cepura, age 92 of Max Meadows, VA passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was born October 24, 1924 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Henry Malik and Sophie Gierszewska Malik and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Stephen Cepura, Sr.  She is survived by her son, Harry S. Cepura and Marie of Flagler Beach, FL; four daughters, Lydia Melvin of Max Meadows, VA, Donna Blanton of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Debbi and David Whittaker of Elkhart, IN, Melisa Mark and Robert Brewer of Galax, VA.

Eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church will be held at a later date.
