Janice Gail Wright Horton left this world for her heavenly home on Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born in Wythe County to the late Clarence and Myrtle Wright on October 15, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Horton along with five sisters and two brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Mike Horton, Craig Horton and Allen & Tammi Horton. She left behind six wonderful grandchildren, Keith, Kristen, Kevin, Ty & Bailey, Sierra and Santanna; six precious great-grandchildren; and her sister, Aggie Reynolds.

Several nieces, nephews & many extended family & friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Barnett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Hall officiating, burial will follow in the Mt Zion Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 12 noon until service time. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Barnett Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
