Jeffrey Allan McMillan, age 63, of Rural Retreat, VA, was born December 28, 1959 and passed away Monday May 1, 2023.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Gladys McMillan of Rural Retreat, VA, maternal grandmother Fanny Gant and maternal grandfather Elon Gant both of Vaiden, Mississippi.

Survived by his father Charles B. McMillan and mother Martha Jane McMillan both of Rural Retreat, VA. Also survived by one brother Charles Michael McMillan and wife Lee of Roanoke, VA; three sisters Diana Vanantwerp and partner Richard Tickle "Barney" from Camp, VA, Michelle Burton and husband Luther Burton of Rural Retreat, VA, Lynda "Susie" Thomas and husband Zane Thomas of Greensboro, NC; Nephews Adam McMillan and Timmy Burton; Nieces Kelly Vanantwerp, Jill Chatterton, Kristy Burton, Sherry Burton and Yuri Barsht; great nephews Owen and Ean Chatterton, Chance and  Calder Burton; great nieces Zoee Chatterton, Isabella, Ryleigh and Norie Burton; Aunts Linda Newman of Vinton, VA and Ann Macleod of Bridgewater, VA

Jeffrey was a fan of collecting. His collections included CD's, DVD's, VHS, Flags, bowling balls, footballs, car tags, door knobs, Cookie Monster, and any creature that his niece Kelly would find him at yard sales.

He enjoyed Cheeseburgers, Diet Coke, and French Fries from McDonalds. He loved to go shopping with his sisters and always added some new goodies to his collections.

Jeffrey you were our heart we grew up as siblings but you turned into our special child as we got older. You will be so missed by everyone.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 4 ,2023 at 2:00 PM at Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Brother Allen Ruble officiating. Visitation for the family and friends on Thursday May 4 2023 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rural Retreat, VA.
