Jerry Walter Thomas, 69, of Wytheville VA, passed away, Sunday, May 19, 2024. Born, November 15, 1954, in Wytheville VA, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin Thomas and Lucille "Scott" Thomas Richardson. He loved the Dallas Cowboys Football. He collected matchbox cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Alton, and Michael Thomas, one sister Cindy Cantrell Survivors include his wife Suzette Thomas of the home, two sons, Rockie Thomas and wife Hannah of Madison N.C. and Kevin Thomas and wife Michelle of Radford VA, two step children Amanda Schaffer and Travis Schaffer both of Austinville VA, brothers, Robert Thomas Sr, Ken Richardson Sr, Chester Richardson and wife Romma, Clarence Thomas and wife Tina, Eugene Thomas, sisters, Cleita Carter, Christine Bingman, Rita Thomas, Pauline T. Freeman, Sherrill Thomas, Della Cole, Donna Hall and husband Randy, Jeanette Coble and husband Jerry, Jennifer Richardson, Kathy Dillow, Debbie Knox, Delphia Showalter, eleven grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted, Friday, May 24, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Barnett Funeral Home; with Pastors, Virginia Riggins and Andrew Davis officiating, burial will follow at Thomas Family Cemetery.
