Jimmy Wayne Delby, age 74 of Galax, VA passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born July 8, 1947, the son of the late Eldridge "Gabe" Delby and Ethel Blevins Delby. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Betty Hodges and Coleen Midkiff; 2 brothers, Gary Delby and Barry Delby.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Delby; one son Wayne Delby; five daughters, Liz and Scott Delby, Shelby and Derrick Gunter, Jennie and Nathan Hampton, April Largen and Sam Adams, Heather and Eric Edwards; a sister, Olivia Taylor; a brother, Freddy and Mona Delby; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, April 8, 2022 at Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Bell and Josh Brannock officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow in West End Cemetery.
