Jimmy Lee Hancock, 71, of Wytheville VA, passed away, Monday, September 12, 2022 in Richmond VA. Born March 17, 1951, he was the son of the late Jake Wagner and Dorothy Lee "Lundy" Hancock.

He loved Yankees baseball and his cats. He also enjoyed canning and gardening. He was a multitasker, and he could do anything.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Ella Meadows Lundy, and Charles and Mary Hancock. two brothers, Walter and James Hancock, one son Jake Hancock.

Survivors include: 2 sons David and Rosemary Hancock and Adam Harden and Tangela Robertson, two daughters, Rosella Blankenship and husband Todd, Mary McGlothlin and husband Tim; three brothers Roger Hancock and wife Sandra, Junior Hancock, Robert Hancock, two sisters, Lucille McClary and husband Bill, Mary Miller; sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; Fur Babies, Lillybell and Rambo.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Legacy Church in Wytheville VA at 1 P.M. with Pastor Brett McCleary officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel UMC Cemetery in Wytheville, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday September 17, 2022 from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. at Legacy Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barnett Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
