Grace JoAnn Cannoy, age 82, of Wytheville, VA passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at her home. She was born April 23, 1942 in Wythe County and was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Ozelle Carty Huddle; two brothers, Harmon "Hud" Huddle, Jr. and Johnny Huddle and a sister, Rose Deonna Irby.

JoAnn is survived by her sons, Howard Cannoy, Jr., Ricky Cannoy, Tony Cannoy and wife Carla; her daughter, Sherry Cannoy Dillon; grandchildren, Adam Lanter and wife Stacey, Whitney Lanter and David Nakhle, Tyler Cannoy and wife Tabitha, Thomas Cannoy and wife Lauren, Brandi Moore and husband Philip, Terri Lawson and husband Josh; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Kolton Lanter, Piper Lanter, Tatum Cannoy, Jordan and Palyn Cannoy, Parker, Brady and Brennon Moore, Connor, Brent and Briggs Lawson. She is also survived by a brother, George Huddle, several nieces, a nephew and many friends.

JoAnn loved crocheting baby blankets and baking cakes whenever possible. She was a member of the Wytheville Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Caylor officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
