John David Blevins, age 54, of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Tuesday December 17, 2024.  He was born July 12, 1970 in Wythe County to Debra Six and the late David Russell Blevins. He was also predeceased by Aunts Jane, Etta Rhea, and grandmother Evelyn Blevins.

He is survived by daughters Tyler Blevins, Daylin Blevins; granddaughter Blakely Atkins and a grandson on the way; fiancée Lvonne Hurst; mother Debbie Six; several cousins and many dear friends.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Cowan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
