John Kelly Sexton, age 87, of Wytheville, VA passed away Tuesday May 14, 2024. He was born in Wythe County Virginia on November 12, 1936 to the late Mitchell Walker Sexton and Ella Mae Crouse Sexton. He was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Nye Sexton and son Johnny "Whopper" Sexton. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his sons Donnie and wife Shari Sexton of Mooresville, NC, James "Bo" and wife Rebecca Sexton of Wytheville, VA; sister Josephine Cregger of Wytheville, VA; two grandchildren Michael Sexton and Ashleigh Sexton.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery with Tim Cregger officiating.
