Johnny S. Jones, age 87, of Wytheville, VA passed away Friday, May 27, 2022. He was born August 2, 1934 in Wythe County and preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean Miller Jones and mother Lillian Jones.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Ruby Jones; two sisters, Katherine Bryant and Carrie Aker; two brothers, Ralph "Buckshot" Jones and Thomas "Ball" Jones. Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Dunford officiating.

Burial will be held in the West End Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the funeral home.
