Jonathan Terry Austin, age 64, of Wytheville, VA passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was born January 25, 1958 in Pulaski, VA, the son of the late Herbert C. and Betty Webb Austin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his partner, Frank DePriest .

Survivors include his brother, Garland "Sonny" and Drema Austin of Max Meadows, VA; nephew, Shannon and Michelle Austin of Galax, VA; two nieces, Trina and B.G. Felts of Wytheville and Shauna Scott of Max Meadows; great-nephew, Isaac Felts of Wytheville and great-niece, Laken Crowder of Max Meadows.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Reese Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to a charity of choice. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Austin family.
