Josephine S. Musick, 93, of Bastian VA, passed away, Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Born September 16, 1931, in Coal Mountain WV, she was the daughter of the late Tollison and Cora Hatfield Morgan.

She loved gardening, crocheting, and cooking for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Musick; sister, Eunice Toler; brother, Robert Morgan, Jeanna Morgan; sister, Susan Lester; grandson, Quentin Slaughter; son-in-law, Mike Slaughter.

Survivors include her daughter, Marlene Slaughter of Bastian VA; two sons, Tommy Musick and wife Katrina of Bastian VA, Donald Musick and wife Donna of Bastian VA; one sister, Sharon Lester of Coal Mountain WV; five grandchildren, Heather Steffey, Justin, Jason and Jared Musick, Jordan Musick; a host of great and great-great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Musick Family Cemetery in Bastian with Pastor Barry Busby officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bastian Union Church Building Fund.
