Josephine H. VanDyke, age 87, of Wytheville, VA passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023. She was born October 29, 1935 in Tazewell County, daughter of the late Maurice S. and Rhoda Johnson Hagy.

Survivors include her daughter, Benita Van Antwerp and companion, Jeff Hagy of Wytheville; three brothers, Dewey "Duke" Hagy of Wytheville, Bruce and Barbara Hagy of Ridgeway, VA and Chimer Hagy of Wytheville; four sisters, Wanda "Steel" Tibbs of Wytheville, Sue Francis of Jonesborough, TN, Debbie and Danny Rosenbaum of Cripple Creek, Connie and Rudy Neese of Austinville; fur-daughter, "Bella".

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Barnett Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 9th at Barnett Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Hagy officiating. Interment will follow in West End Cemetery.
