Joyce M. Cassell, 82, of Ceres, VA joined her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. She was born February 6, 1942 to the late Roncie and Eula Fisher Morrison.

She loved her flowers and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. She loved her kids and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Andrew Cassell, one brother, Roncie D. Morrison and her sister, Louise Morrison Thomas.

Joyce is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alan Andrew and Kelly Cassell and her lovable grandson, Jack Cassell. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Kent Tucker and their children Katie Godown, Courtney Tucker and Jarod Tucker; great granddaughter, Lorelei.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the Red Oak Church with Reverend Neal Hammons officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Sharon Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Oak Church or Sharon Cemetery.
