Karen Audrey Mitchell Parker, age 61, of Wytheville, VA passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born April 24, 1962 in Wytheville and was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Mitchell and grandmother, Delightful Victoria Lambert.

Survivors include her mother, Eunice Mitchell of Wytheville; her daughter, Misty Parker of Blacksburg, VA; two brothers, Keith and Teresa Mitchell of Indiana and Kenneth Mitchell of Wytheville; her niece, Paige and Travis Foster and their family of Wytheville. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Barnett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon until service time.

Burial will follow in West End Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
