Kate Wright Dillow, age 93, of Bland, Passed away Saturday November 11, 2017.  She was born November 15, 1923 to the late Charles Herbert and Hallie Lawrence Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Gordon Dillow and a grandson, Henry Jacob Dillow.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Roger Tickle of Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Vicki Dillow of Wytheville; two brothers William "Ted" Wright and Homer Lee Wright both of Hollybrook; one sister Julia Hayes of Smyth County; two granddaughters and spouses, Jamie and Greg Frazier and Tami and Gary Tickle; two great grandchildren, Brayden Frazier and Torri Tickle; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 7 P.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Highland's Bland Funeral Chapel with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.  Graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at the Bland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the Bland Cemetery Fund c/o Jane Hall 2141 E. Bluegrass Trail Bland, VA 24315.
