Kaye Hudson Akers, age 66, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. She was born May 6, 1957 in Wythe County and was preceded in death by her father, Walter Hudson.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Akers; her mother, Francis Kitts Hudson; several cousins and many close friends; her furry companion "Bee".

There will be a gathering of family and friends Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home.
